The upcoming CMT Celebrates Our Heroes: An Artists of the Year Special just got a lot more star power! Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Lee Brice and Bobby Bones are among the artists who have been added to the lineup. In addition, Hollywood celebrities including Scarlet Johansson, Sean Penn, Gary Sinise and Olivia Munn will appear virtually as well.

CMT Celebrates Our Heroes is being held on what would have been the annual CMT Awards, which had to be postponed due to COVID-19. Instead, the event will honor those working on the frontlines during the global coronavirus pandemic.

“The ‘CMT Artists of the Year’ franchise has always been reflective of the important issues of our time, and this year, we all felt it necessary to shift our focus to honoring the real heroes during these unprecedented times,” said Leslie Fram, Senior Vice President of Music & Talent, CMT.

“From the first responders and healthcare workers to members of the military, our educators, food industry workers and so many more, the country music community will come together to honor these heroic men and women,” she continued. “The evening of unity will feature incredible performances, uplifting tributes and a salute to those risking their lives on the frontlines of this crisis.”

Previously announced performers for the show include Brothers Osborne, Florida Georgia Line, Kelsea Ballerini, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Tim McGraw,  Carrie Underwood, Brandi Carlile, Darius Rucker, Kane Brown, Kristen Bell, Lauren Daigle, Luke Combs and Sam Hunt. Other artists slated to perform include Zac Brown, Cody Alan and Jake Owen.

CMT Celebrates Our Heroes: An Artists of the Year Special will air on Wednesday, June 3, at 8 PM ET on CMT. It will also simultaneously air on Paramount Network, Pop TV and TV Land.
