After the recent Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam, rescheduled from 2020 due to COVID-19, shattered attendance records, the upcoming 2021 lineup seems poised to be the best one yet. The full line-up has just been announced, which includes Gary Allan, Scotty McCreery, Chris Janson, Tracy Lawrence, the Randy Rogers Band, Tyler Rich, Tigirlily, Ryan Griffin, Steve Moakler, Darryl Worley, Corey Smith and more. Chris Stapleton, Old Dominion and Brooks & Dunn will headline.
“We really try to have something for everyone, and we’ve already had incredible response to this lineup,” Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam Executive Producer Rendy Lovelady says. “Artists are back on the road, and we will have the best of the best here for three days!”
With the event taking place one weekend before the anniversary of 9/11, Worley will perform a special tribute, with his song “Have You Forgotten,” released in response to the deadly terrorist attacks.
“We just got the stage taken down from last month’s rescheduled Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam, and we are doing another one Labor Day Weekend!” Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam Executive Producer Rendy Lovelady previously told Everything Nash. “We’re incredibly excited about this lineup. We really try to have a little something for everyone, and it’s going to be really special to have Darryl Worley back with us to sing ‘Have You Forgotten’ for the 20th anniversary of 9/11.”
The recent Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam was among the first live festival events since the start of the pandemic, with more than 23,000 people attending each day.
“We knew our Jammers were ready to get out, but we sure didn’t expect to break records,” Lovelady said after the event. “We waited 20 months for this to happen, and it was definitely worth the wait.
“The best comment I heard from someone was, ‘it was great to get out and feel music again,’” he added.
