5 Iconic Ice Cream Concoctions Available in Nashville

With the weather getting hotter and hotter, there’s never been a better time to enjoy a delicious ice cream concoction. Fortunately, Nashville has plenty of unique options to indulge, in while also cooling off amid the summer heat. Keep reading to find five of our favorites.

1. The Nashville Sundae Club

What could be better than ice cream and cocktails? Fortunately, Nashville Sundae Club delivers on both. They offer one-of-a-kind cocktails, such as their Nashville Hot Margarita, served with a spicy rub, or their Summer Sundae Rum Punch, made with three different types of rum.

But, as their name suggests, The Nashville Sundae Club also has numerous ice cream options as well, including a variety of ice cream sandwiches and milkshakes. They also, obviously, have numerous one-of-a-kind sundaes, such as their Classic Brownie and S’mores. But if you’re going to get one, try the Cinnamon Roll, with vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce and Cinnamon Toast Crunch, plus a warm cinnamon roll.

2. Elliston Place Soda Shop

Elliston Place Soda Shop has been a Nashville staple since 1939, serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week. But they also have numerous homemade desserts, including their legendary pies, plus milkshakes in flavors like pineapple and Nutter Butter.

Elliston Soda Shop also serves a decadent Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae, with hand-dipped vanilla ice cream sandwiched between a warm brownie, served with banana slices and covered with a generous amount of hot fudge, and topped with whipped cream and a cherry. Priced at $11.99, it’s definitely big enough to share.

3. Legendairy Milkshake Bar

Is it a sundae? Is it a milkshake? Whatever it is, anything Legendairy Milkshake Bar makes is delicious, and decadent. Known for their outrageous (in the best way possible) creations, Legendairy has a long list of curated concoctions, including their Sippin’ Pretty in Music City, made with Salted Caramel Truffle ice cream, and topped with whipped cream, mini marshmallows, caramel sauce, a Goo Goo Cluster candy bar and more. Or maybe The Cereal Killer, vanilla ice cream mixed with Fruity Pebbles cereal, topped with more Fruity Pebbles, plus Trix cereal, whipped cream, marshmallow cream and a mystery cereal bar.

But since we’re just picking one, we’re going with the Cookie Doughliciousness, which is chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, with a chocolate icing rim, toped with whipped cream, cookie dough bites, chocolate sauce, and a scoop of edible cookie dough. Yum.

The Baked Bear offers unique ice cream sandwiches, with your choice of cookie and ice cream. Choose from options like the Orea Cheesecake Cookie or the Funfetti Cookie, filled with Mud Pie, Mint Chip, Dark Chocolate ice cream, or more, all topped with any number of toppings, including sprinkles, hot fudge and hot caramel, among other options.

But The Baked Bear also has our favorite, what is known as the Bear Bowl, a fresh, warm cookie, filled with your choice of ice cream flavor. Try the chocolate chip cookie topped with Bear Batter ice cream, which is blue cake batter with brownies and sprinkles.
