Nashville is known as Music City because of the wide availability of live music, all over the city. As the weather cools, and after live music was largely shut down for more than a year because of the pandemic, there’s never been a better time to check out Nashville’s live music scene. 1. Bluebird Cafe
The Bluebird Cafe is one of the most well-known places in Nashville to see live music. If you love songs, and the stories behind them, then the Bluebird Cafe is the place to be. Saturday night’s show features Karleen Watt, Raye Williams and Phil Barton, the writers behind some of country music’s biggest hits.

2. The Basement East
AmericanFest is continuing in Nashville with shows all over the city, including at The Basement East. Artists like Carlene Carter, Lilly Hiatt, Brit Taylor and more will perform over the weekend. Advance ticket purchase is recommended

3. Assembly Food Hall
One of Nashville’s newest venues, The Assembly Food Hall, located at 5th and Broadway, includes the Skydeck, which offers killer views overlooking the city. Stop by on Saturday, September 25, and see rising duo Presley & Taylor perform, while enjoying a craft cocktail from the rooftop bar.
4. Ole Red
Ole Red keeps the music playing all day long. This weekend’s outstanding lineup includes Hudson Valley, Alex Smith and Zach Ray. Go hungry, because Ole Red’s food is as good as their live music.
5. 3rd & Lindsley
3rd & Lindsley was hosting live music long before plenty of the current venues were even open, and they do it well. This weekend’s lineup includes a stellar show Saturday night, also as part of AmericanaFest, featuring Brandy Clark, Emily Scott Robinson, Rodney Crowell and more.
