Brad Paisley is getting ready to cross the globe, along with an impressive array of opening acts. The West Virginia native will embark on his World Tour 2022, kicking off on May 27 in Uncasville, Connecticut, playing shows in North America, before heading overseas on his ninth European tour, and his first-ever series of shows in Australia. Tracy Lawrence, Scotty McCreery, Morgan Evans, Tenille Townes and Caylee Hammack are among the artists who will take turns joining Paisley on his international trek.
Paisley’s World Tour 2022 marks Paisley’s first tour outside of North America since 2019, and he is returning with a new outlook on life, after spending so much time at home because of the pandemic.
“In the height of it, I felt a connection with fans and friends,” Paisley told CMT. “I don’t know how I would’ve ever had these moments that I’ll never forget without being forced to figure out this app called Zoom. It started to be so much fun to see that somebody had a special thing happening that I could be a part of because I had the time. It was just so rewarding to just drop in on a group of nurses.”
The father of two also hints that there will be a lot more music coming from him, and soon.
“I wrote and did things, and I’ve taken my time,” Paisley shared. “I just haven’t released any of it yet. We haven’t really gone all out in a while, and someday I might. But for now, it’s been nice to sort of sit on what I’m working on and try to figure out with some clarity what comes next.”
A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold will benefit The Store, a non-profit Paisley started with his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, to feed and empower lower-income families in Nashville. See a list of tour dates below. Find more information at BradPaisley.com.
