Brandon Davis‘ long-awaited new album is out! The singer-songwriter just released Jumped Right In, 13 songs, including “Granddaddy’s Chevrolet,” “Tough,” “I’ll Wait Up For You,” the title track and more.
“Been working on this album for a year now, and man does it feel good to know I get to share it with the world in just two weeks,” Davis said on social media, when announcing the project. “The past two years have been filled with the most ups and downs my family has ever faced . From a miscarriage in 2024 and losing six family members in a six-month span of time, to finding out we were blessed with twins and being able to adopt my oldest two, life has been a rollercoaster to say the least. I’ve learned more than ever to trust in God’s plan and that with my wife by my side, there’s nothing we can’t overcome together
“Jumped Right In is a collection of songs that truly define the past two years’ struggles and blessings alongside a few written just to get ya up on your feet,” he continues. “I can’t wait for y’all to hear the new ones, especially ‘Goodnight Baby,’ which is the lullaby I’ve sang to each of my children every single night for the last eight years before bed. This one is special y’all.”
In early 2024, Davis released “Pretty (Daughter Version),” which appears on Jumped Right In.

“I just thought about everything my little girl does,” Davis said at the time. “Whether it’s how we do things together, things that I see her do on a daily basis. It was just a way to really show her who she is, and how special she can be, and that she is capable of anything. This song is about truly just showing her that she is so much more than she could ever dream of, and really empowering her to know that at an early age, so that she can carry it on for the rest of her life.”
Jumped Right In ends with “Goodnight Baby,” a fitting song since Davis and his wife Destiny will soon have two little girls, Remi and Rori, added to their family. The record also includes “I Am,” written about Destiny.
“I have spent the past eight years watching my wife overcome so many incredibly tough situations she never should have even faced,” Davis said of the song. “And she’s done it all with such resilience and grace and has been my biggest cheerleader even when she couldn’t cheer for herself. I think we all have an inner voice that tells us we ‘can’t’ or we aren’t ‘worthy’ of certain things, and I want this song to serve as a reminder to everyone, especially my wife and kids that you ARE worthy, capable and so very special . I hope this song helps heal you guys in the way it has us.”
In addition to looking forward to welcoming his two new daughters, Davis also has plenty of dates on the calendar in 2025, including a show in the UK. Find Jumped Right In and all of Davis’ music and upcoming shows at BrandonDavisMusic.com.
