In October, Davis and Destiny announced the arrival of two more girls. The good news came after a long fertility journey, which included a devastating miscarriage.

“This journey has been nothing short of a rollercoaster,” Destiny said at the time. “From our first IVF appointment nearly two years ago to our pregnancy and loss back in the spring of our baby girl, to now officially being pregnant again. We are so very thankful for God’s blessings and His timing.”

Earlier this year, Davis and Destiny celebrated the twins with a pink baby shower.

“Today we celebrated our two little wildflowers coming this spring,” Davis captioned the photos. “Hard to believe they’re almost here. The journey to this day has not been easy and in all honesty we had no idea if we’d ever make it this far again, but God always has a plan. Feeling so very thankful and blessed!”

The country music hitmaker recently released a song, “I Am,” inspired by his wife, who encouraged him to pursue a career in country music.

“I have spent the past eight years watching my wife overcome so many incredibly tough situations she never should have even faced,” Davis says. “And she’s done it all with such resilience and grace and has been my biggest cheerleader even when she couldn’t cheer for herself. I think we all have an inner voice that tells us we ‘can’t’ or we aren’t ‘worthy’ of certain things, and I want this song to serve as a reminder to everyone, especially my wife and kids that you ARE worthy, capable and so very special . I hope this song helps heal you guys in the way it has us.”

Davis and Destiny met on Facebook, although she later admitted she wasn’t sure she wanted to date again. When Davis sent her a message, she was still healing from a divorce, and focusing on being a single mother. But from their first kiss at the end of their first date — a date she tried to cancel multiple times — Davis knew she was The One.

“We all I feel like have that moment, but that was my moment,” Davis recalls. “When she gave me that kiss, I knew, ‘Okay, here we go. I don’t want anything else. I want this.’ And the rest is history. We’re here.”

Davis has a few more dates on his tour schedule over the next couple of months, before he takes time off to acclimate to the new arrivals. Find all of his music and upcoming shows at BrandonDavisMusic.com.
