Brett Eldredge is back with brand-new music. The 38-year-old just released “Gorgeous,” his first single since “Songs About You” came out in 2022, and his first on his own label.
“I took some time to step away, start my own label, wrote some music that made me feel free to embrace all the different parts of myself and had an absolute thrill doing it,” Eldredge said when the single was released. “This music will blur genre lines and really just give my fans the opportunity to see some sides of me that I’m not even sure I knew had in me. I am so excited for this chapter of life and music.”
Eldredge has been hinting about new music on social media, and his desire to put out his own music, on his own terms, after being on a major record label since his debut Bring You Back album came out in 2013.
“I’ve been thinking of different ways to really shake things up with my life and music,” Eldredge said after Christmas. “Every time I push myself [way] out of my comfort zone I feel the most alive…I have done this personally and now musically with what I am about to hit ya with this year…I feel loved and accepted more than ever and I feel empowered to put out music in unconventional ways that many may not expect but I know you are gonna love…there will be multiple different styles and sounds, taking you around the globe with me on a musical journey from beaches, to mountains to evening strolls under city street lights…this is going to be a lot of fun…here’s to the next chapter, coming [very soon].”

In December, Eldredge headlined his Glow: Welcome to the Family Tour, a run of Christmas dates that included his first time headlining Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
“I moved to Nashville in 2006,” Eldredge later reflected. “I was just an eager college kid that knew nothing about the music business other than that I loved to sing and I dreamt of finding a way of doing that for a living one day…I learned slowly how to write songs, and started running to every little songwriter bar and club to play and sing for anyone that was willing to listen…I have played about everywhere in this town but always wandered by the Giant Arena on Broadway, wondering if it would be possible to one day headline a show there.
“The journey took me many different directions, ups, downs and sideways, you name it,” he continued. “I’ve felt it…with the help of lots of amazing fans that have continued to stick by my side, family, friends and my faithful team of music dreamers, we got to headline [Bridgestone Arena] on what ended up being one of the most special nights of my life…I cried, I laughed and most of all, I felt love like never before…I am beyond grateful…what a special tour, what magnificent night, I love you all.”
