Brooks & Dunn have another REBOOT album coming out, this one with an all-new, star-studded list of artists joining them on the record. The duo, made up of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, announce the release of REBOOT 2, 18 of their most iconic songs, joined by artists like Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Morgan Wallen, Mitchell Tenpenny, HARDY, Riley Green and more.
“The premise of the project was ‘No rules,'” Dunn says. “For this one, we purposely loosened the screws and turned ‘em loose to do whatever they wanted. We actually went way off the rails, in a good way.”
“This project is a lot more out of bounds,” Brooks adds. “Artists were going, ‘Would it be okay if we did this?’ It was like ‘Yeah! Let’s do it.’ We dealt with rock bands and blues bands and all kinds of genres, all over the place.”
Brooks & Dunn also announced the news on social media, along with a clip of Wilson singing “Play Something Country.”

Brooks & Dunn are gearing up for a busy 2025. The Country Music Hall of Fame members will embark on their Neon Moon Tour on March 13 in Lubbock, Texas, with the tour continuing until their final show on April 26 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Brooks & Dunn continue to move full-speed ahead with their shared career, including their 25th CMA Awards nomination for Vocal Duo of the Year at the 2024 CMA Awards. It’s a welcome comeback for country music fans, especially since Brooks & Dunn announced their split in 2009. They returned, fortunately, in 2019, with their original REBOOT, which featured Luke Combs, Ashley McBryde, Kane Brown, Brett Young and more.
