Chef Andrew Zimmern Partners With Nashville’s The 404 Kitchen

Nashville’s The 404 Kitchen is teaming up with Food Network chef Andrew Zimmern for new menu items, as part of the restaurant’s ongoing Culinary Passport Staycation Dinner Series. Andrew follows on the heels of fellow TV star Marcus Samuelsson, whose own unique menu items ended on August 30.

Chef Zimmern, known for his Bizarre Foods series, where he tries food all over the globe, will bring his own ideas to The 404 Kitchen, working with the restaurant’s own Chef Matt Bolus to create one-of-a-kind menu items.

Andrew’s global travel experiences are evidenced in plenty of the dishes on the Culinary Passport Staycation Dinner Series menu. Appetizer items include Low Country Soused Shrimp, Clams in Black Bean Sauce and Grilled Beef Rolls with Nuoc Cham Dipping Sauce, while entree options are Moqueca de Peixe, Chicken Fried Steak with Cream Gravy and Chicken, Merguez Sausage & Artichoke Tagine.

The side items offered are Corn and Green Tomato Salad, Charred Eggplant Dip and Endive, Celeriac, and Avocado Salad. Desserts choices are Flan with Caramel and Orange or Caramel Apple Pie.

Chef Zimmern is a four-time James Beard Award winner. The new menu will be available from September 8 to September 26. The 404 Kitchen is located at 507 12th Avenue South in Nashville. Menu items will be available for dine-in or carry-out. Find more information at The404Nashville.com.
