The nominees for the 2024 CMT Music Awards have been announced, with Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Kelsea Ballerini and Megan Moroney among the top nominees, with three nods each.

Johnson is nominated for Video of the Year and Male Video of the Year, both for his recent No. 1 hit, “The Painter,” plus CMT Performance of the Year, for “Human,” from the 2023 CMT Music Awards.

Wilson is nominated for Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year, both for “Watermelon Moonshine,” plus Collaborative Video of the Year, for Lukas Nelson + Promise of The Real feat. Lainey Wilson – “More Than Friends.”

Jelly Roll is nominated for Video of the Year, Male Video of the Year, and Performance of the Year, all for “Need a Favor,” with the Performance of the Year from last year’s CMT Music Awards. At the 2023 CMT Music Awards, Jelly Roll won in all three categories he was nominated in, including Male Video of the Year, Male Breakthrough Video of the Year and the CMT Digital-First Performance of the Year, all for “Son Of A Sinner..”

Ballerini is nominated for Video of the Year and CMT Performance of the Year, both for “If You Go Down (I’m Goin’ Down Too),” and Female Video of the Year, for “Penthouse.” She will return as host of the CMT Music Awards for the fourth year in a row, this time taking the helm solo, without Kane Brown, who has shared the duties with her for the last three years.

Moroney is nominated for Female Video of the Year and CMT Digital Performance of the Year, both for “I’m Not Pretty,” plus Collaborative Video of the Year, for her “Can’t Break Up Now” duet with Old Dominion.
