Dan + Shay‘s Shay Mooney is a dad, again! The singer and his wife, Hannah Billinglsey, reveal on social media that they are now parents of four sons, after Billingsley gave birth to their latest addition.
“Our brand new baby BOY is finally here!” the couple writes. “Aubrey Ellis Mooney. 7 lbs 9 ounces + perfectly healthy! Thank you Jesus for another miracle!”

In July, Mooney and Billingsley revealed they were adding to their family, although Mooney declined to reveal ahead of time if it was a boy or a girl.
“Fourth one is on the way,” Mooney shared on Country Countdown USA. “I think January 20th is our due date. We haven’t announced what it is yet. People have been asking if we’re gonna announce it, and we probably won’t. It’s too late at this point, and they’ll all find out eventually.”
Mooney has more to celebrate than just another child. Dan + Shay are also celebrating having their 11th No. 1 hit, with “Bigger Houses.” The song is the title track of their latest album.
‘This was the final song written for the album, and defined the era in such an important way,” the duo said. “Thank you to our team for championing this one all the way to the top of the chart. It’s not lost on us that working a song like this (no drums or shiny production) is a challenge, but you faced it head-on and delivered, like you always do. Thank you to our country radio family for taking a chance on this song, and helping us share it with millions and millions of listeners, week after week. Your support means more to us than we could ever put into words.”
Dan + Shay also took time to thank their fans for their support, not just with “Bigger Houses,” but throughout their entire career.
“And last but not least, thank you to our fans,” Dan + Shay said. “You have always stood by us, through every high and every low, and we are forever grateful. You believed in this song since the day we released it, and gave us the confidence to make it a single. Sitting on top of that house and hearing you sing these words back to us every night on tour was something we will never forget. Lots more to say about ‘Bigger Houses,’ but for now, thank you. Simply, thank you. We could not think of a better way to start the year than by celebrating a song that means so much to us with the people.”
“Bigger Houses” is also nominated for a Grammy Award, for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
“It’s crazy man,” Mooney said, speaking of their nomination. “We got nominated for a Grammy on that song, which is absolutely mind-blowing. Whenever Dan and I first recorded the song, and decided to push this as a single, I feel like our radio team was probably like, ‘What are you guys thinking? The song is so slow.’ But we’ve always run with our gut on singles, and really listened to our fans. I know the stories that we were hearing from people about this song in particular, it just really hit us. We knew that we had something really special here.”
