Darryl Worley is giving his fans an update on his 16-year-old daughter, Savannah, who was seriously injured in a car accident. The 60-year-old first asked for prayers as his daughter went into surgery to work on her leg.
“Savannah is currently in surgery to repair her leg!” Worley wrote. “Kimberly and I are anxiously waiting to hear how things are going from the doctor! It should be another couple of hours before I have an update after surgery! Thank you so much for all the love and support! It means more than you will ever know! Please continue to pray for our baby girl!”
Worley later reveals his daughter successfully came through surgery on her leg, and is fortunately on the mend.
“Update!” Worley writes. “Savannah is out of surgery and doing well! She’s resting now! The doctor said everything went well!”
When the Tennessee native shared the news of his daughter’s injuries, he was on his way from New Mexico, and asked his fans for prayers for Savannah, and the other woman in the crash.
“I’m humbly coming to y’all with a very serious request!” Worley wrote. “I’m flying back to Nashville from a show in New Mexico! Kimberly called and said Savannah had been in a bad wreck and was being life flighted to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville! She has a broken leg, bruises, and lacerations! Please pray for her and pray I can get home to be with my baby girl and Kimberly! Also pray for the lady in the other car! I don’t have any details on the accident but just ask you to pray!! Thank you! Swipe to see the cars!”

Savannah’s car accident comes after an especially trying year for the Worley family, which included Worley’s barn going up in flames in January, followed by Kimberly having surgery on her arm when she was also in a car accident over the summer.
“The last two days have certainly been eventful,” Worley said at the time. “I came back from playing a gig in Canada only to discover that my wife had been injured in a side by side crash. When we landed back in the States, that was the first news I received and then the X-ray pictures came through. The doctor in me didn’t like the looks of the break and I figured there was going to be an ortho surgeon in my near future.”
2024 might have been a hard year, but the singer-songwriter is confident his family can endure whatever trials they face.
“We’re tough people,’ Worley told Everything Nash, after his barn fire. “We’ve been through a lot and there’s no quitting us, and God’s been good to us. It is the whole thing of, watching something that you love and cherish just burn up in front of you is a little traumatizing. But once you get past that part of it, we’re committed to building it back as quick as we can …It’s just stuff, and we’ll be fine.”
Currently, Worley’s next scheduled concert is on Saturday, November 23, in McMinnville, Tennessee. Updates to his tour schedule can be found at DarrylWorley.com.
