Darryl Worley is asking for prayers for his 16-year-old daughter, Savannah, who was critically injured in a car accident. The singer shares a few details, along with some heartbreaking photos, on social media.
“I’m humbly coming to y’all with a very serious request!” Worley writes. “I’m flying back to Nashville from a show in New Mexico! Kimberly called and said Savannah had been in a bad wreck and was being life flighted to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville! She has a broken leg, bruises, and lacerations! Please pray for her and pray I can get home to be with my baby girl and Kimberly! Also pray for the lady in the other car! I don’t have any details on the accident but just ask you to pray!! Thank you! Swipe to see the cars!”
The photos show two badly damaged vehicles. An update on Savannah and the other driver has not been given.

This isn’t Worley’s first hardship he has faced this year. In January, the Tennessee native watched as his barn went up in flames.
“I don’t think I will get this sight out of my mind for a long time!” Worley wrote on social media. “I’ve seen other people go through things like this and I truly hurt for them. You just don’t really know and understand until it happens to you. It’s the worst feeling! In that moment that Kimberly captured I was overwhelmed with the feelings of helplessness, sadness, confusion, and grief! There were so many things in that barn that meant so much to us and so many great memories!
“But I woke up this morning feeling thankful for all the love and support from so many, for the fact that all our animals escaped, for my family being safe, and for God’s love and protection!” he added. “Please continue keep us in your prayers and thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the posts, texts, calls, and prayers! We will rebuild our barn and move on with God’s help!”

In August, Worley shared that his wife had been injured in a car crash and was undergoing surgery.
“The last two days have certainly been eventful,” Worley revealed. “I came back from playing a gig in Canada only to discover that my wife had been injured in a side by side crash. When we landed back in the States, that was the first news I received and then the X-ray pictures came through. The doctor in me didn’t like the looks of the break and I figured there was going to be an ortho surgeon in my near future.”
When discussing his barn fire, Worley maintained that he and his family were strong enough to endure whatever they faced.
“We’re tough people,’ Worley told Everything Nash. “We’ve been through a lot and there’s no quitting us, and God’s been good to us. It is the whole thing of, watching something that you love and cherish just burn up in front of you is a little traumatizing. But once you get past that part of it, we’re committed to building it back as quick as we can …It’s just stuff, and we’ll be fine.”
