Dierks Bentley‘s Seven Peaks Music Festival will return for a third year, this time in a new location. The Arizona native reveals the three-day event, held September 2 to 4, will take place this year in Villa Grove, Colorado, after being formerly held in Buena Vista, Colorado.
“I can’t overstate how much it means to be able to say that Seven Peaks is officially coming back,” Bentley says. “We found the perfect new location for the festival in Villa Grove. Everyone knows how much I love Colorado and how important it was for me to find a home for this one of a kind event that encompasses all the magic of the beauty of the state. This year’s line-up is so good; I can’t wait to share what we have planned for this year’s festival in the coming days.”
Bentley also shared the good news on social media, along with a video of him pretending to move as a way to announce the new location.
“Well folks, we’re moving,” Bentley said in the video. “Seven Peaks has a new home in Villa Grove, Colorado, in San Luis valley. Same great time, same great experiences. The mountains, the music, the friendship. You know you love it; I love it. I can’t wait to see you there Labor Day weekend. Don’t worry, we’ve got the facilities covered. It’s gonna be a great time. We’ll see you Labor Day weekend.”

The full lineup for this year’s event will be announced on April 13. Last year’s festival already had an all-star list of artists ready to perform, including Keith Urban, Kip Moore, Clay Walker, Travis Denning, Ingrid Andress and more, when it was canceled due to the ongoing pandemic.
“It cannot be overstated how much time, thought, effort and energy had gone into gearing up for the festival this year,” Bentley said at the time. “I want to thank my team for the work, the artists for the trust, and above all our fans, who look forward to this event all year long. Especially this year. Really appreciate you guys hanging in there with us through the ups and downs of COVID. Together we built something very special and it’s going to be a big celebration when our 7P family is together again. We will be back!”
Bentley just announced he is extending his Beers On Me Tour into the summer, with Ashley McBryde and Travis Denning serving as his opening acts.
“A bunch of friends, ice cold beer and good country music is just about all you need for a perfect summer,” Bentley says of his summer tour. “Every year when we plan a tour, I think this summer is going to the best yet…and this year is no different! I’m excited to have Ashley and Travis jump on this leg of the Beers On Me Tour…now just counting the days ’til June!”
