Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert are combining their talents for one unforgettable night. The two superstars will co-headline the NHL’s annual Stadium Series in Nashville, an outdoor event that will take place on February 26 at Nissan Stadium.
The Predators will compete against the Tampa Bay Lightning, part of an unforgettable night that NHL Chief Content Officer Steve Mayer says will highlight Music City’s bustling downtown music scene. The event will include multiple music stages, mimicking the downtown music scene.
“We’re gonna play off-Broadway and Nashville and the colors,” Mayer tells The Tennessean. “For us, it’s so important that you show off the city to everyone [who] tunes into the hockey game.”

This isn’t the first time Nashville has participated in the Stadium Series, but Mayer hints it might be the best.
“The bar is pretty high with what we’ve done in the past, but we do believe with Miranda and Dierks that we can beat it,” Mayer said.
While Bentley and Lambert alone can draw quite an impressive crowd, more artists are expected to be announced in the near future.
“I think we’re not done,” Mayer said. “This the first of many announcements. We’re gonna put on a show.”
In addition to the music and the game, other events will also take place that day outside the Nissan Stadium gates, including NHL alumni appearances, puck shooting, photos with the Stanley Cup, live music, and more. That event will begin at 1:00 PM CT.
Bentley is no stranger to the NHL. The Arizona native is a big fan of ice hockey, and an even bigger fan of the Nashville Predators.
“It’s like sometimes you don’t want to meet your heroes because you’re afraid they might be jerks, but you meet these guys and they’re really cool, too,” Bentley said in 2018. “It just makes you an even bigger fan.”
“There’s not another city like this in the NHL that has this combination of excitement, because you mix hockey with the entertainment industry,” he added.
Fans after the Predators game can keep the party going downtown, at Bentley’s Whiskey Row or Lambert’s Casa Rosa.
