Dolly Parton Announces New Nashville Hotel and Launch of Dolly Wines

Dolly Parton is a busy woman, who is about to be even busier. The East Tennessee native announces plans for her own Songteller Hotel in Nashville, which will also feature a museum, located in the heart of Music City, along with launching her own line of wine, appropriately called Dolly Wines.

“Of course, everybody always wants to know what I’m doing,” Parton joked while appearing at CMA Fest (via The Tennessean). “Nobody wants to know that more than me. I’m going so fast I’ve met myself coming fast. I don’t know how I do it either, but it’s true I’m going to have a hotel right here in Nashville.”

Located at 3rd and Commerce, an opening date has yet to be announced, but Parton says within a couple of years.

“We’re working real hard on that,” Parton said. “I’ve always wanted a hotel in Nashville and a museum.”

Parton vividly recalls the moment she had the idea of what to name the new hotel.

“When we were looking at the property and we were walking through an empty room and there on the table was my book ‘Songteller,'” the 78-year-old recalled.  “We hadn’t thought about a name for the hotel. We thought that might be a sign.”

Unlike the Dolly Parton Experience at Dollywood, Parton says the museum will have lot of her own personal items.

“We’ll have a lot of my real articles,” Parton revealed. “Hopefully, people will get to see some of my actual things like the little replica of the coat of many colors.”

Parton, who just announced her Hello, I’m Dolly Broadway musical opening in 2026, is also working on her own wine, available later this month to order, and in stores in July.

“Sometimes when you live long enough, you get what you call your brand,” Parton explained. “That means your name is familiar enough that everybody wants you to put your name on a product.”

“I only put my name on things that I believe in,” she added. “We are going to have some nice wines.”

According to Parton, the first wine available will be a chardonnay, which will be available on June 20 and can be pre-ordered now.

“The Dolly Chardonnay has a vibrant pale lemon color with medium body, reminiscent of a morning sun in the Smoky Mountains,” according to DollyWines.com. “Enjoy the rich flavors of white peach, sweet cream, and toasty oak, balanced perfectly with a clean, crisp acid line. The wine’s stone fruit, white raspberry and sweet cream notes can also elevate the flavors in any dish,  making it a perfect pairing for a Southern-inspired meal like Shrimp and grits. With a smooth, medium-length finish and natural fruit sweetness, this wine is the perfect companion for spending time with family and friends.”
