Fans of Dolly Parton‘s music will have yet another opportunity to hear her music live. The 78-year-old announces the 2025 dates for Threads: My Songs in Symphony, featuring Parton’s songs, and the stories behind them, as part of an “innovative multimedia symphonic experience,” per a press release. Threads: My Songs in Symphony, with the Nashville Symphony, and will feature Parton on screen, along with guest vocalists and musicians.
“The threads of my life are woven together through my songs,” Parton says. “That’s why this project, Threads: My Songs In Symphony, is so special to me. It’s all about sharing my music and my musical journey with audiences in a new way. I’m really excited for fans to experience it for the first time with the Nashville Symphony!”
Included in Threads: My Songs in Symphony will be some of Parton’s biggest hits, such as “Jolene,” “Coat of Many Colors,” and “I Will Always Love You,” in addition to her own favorites, as part of a “full-evening multimedia symphonic story-telling experience.”

Threads: My Songs in Symphony is just one of the many business endeavors Parton has currently. In addition to her music career and her Dollywood theme park, the East Tennessee native just launched her Dolly Beauty line of cosmetics and her Dolly Wines, and released her cookbook, Good Lookin’ Cookin’: A Year of Meals— A Lifetime of Family, Friends, co-authored with her sister, Rachel Parton George. She is also building her own Songteller Hotel in Nashville, and will have her own Hello, I’m Dolly Broadway musical, premiering in 2026.
“Sometimes when you live long enough, you get what you call your brand,” Parton says of her numerous endeavors. “That means your name is familiar enough that everybody wants you to put your name on a product.”
The world premiere performance of Threads: My Songs in Symphony, will take place on March 20 in Nashville at the Schermerhorn Center, and will include a special appearance by Parton.
