Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard Feels ‘Extra Blessed’ to Be Welcoming Third Child

Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard, and his wife, Hayley Hubbard, weren’t necessarily planning on having a third child so quickly, but they are still thrilled with the unexpected pregnancy. The couple is already proud parents to 2-year-old Olivia and 7-month-old Luca, and will eagerly welcome their second son later this year.

“It’s definitely such a blessing and it’s such hard work as well, I’m not gonna lie,” Tyler shared with his record label. “But it’s so much fun, and to see Luca, where he’s at, and to know that in six more months, or whatever it is, we’re gonna have another little dude here, it’s just fun to think about. It’s fun to think about what the future is gonna be like.

“But right now, they keep us on our toes,” he continued. “So, we just feel extra blessed and extra thankful and we definitely have something to keep us busy during this off time. But it’s so rewarding and so fun at the same time.”

The couple announced while on a trip to Africa with their family, Brian Kelley and his wife Brittney that they were expecting, later revealing their third child was a boy.

“This was such fun news to find out amidst the craziness of everything that’s going on in the world and in our hometown,” Hayley shared on Instagram. “And such a fun way to find out @sheldricktrust. Thanks @brittneykelley for keeping the surprise and planning this fun reveal at one of our favorite places in the world!”

It was Brittney who found out the sex of the baby ahead of time, and discreetly carried a blue scarf with her to Africa, where she gave it to an elephant keeper at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust when it came time for the gender reveal.

“Africa has become our second home, and we really wanted to do the reveal with the elephants at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust,” Hayley told PEOPLE. “We’re in awe of the inspiring work they do to rescue, protect and preserve these magical creatures. The elephants really speak to us, and this is a cause that we are very passionate about.”

Florida Georgia Line planned on hitting the road in April with Kenny Chesney, on his Chillaxification Tour. That tour has been postponed at least until the end of May, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
