Home Free is back with a humorous new video, showing off the hysterical side of the band members. The five-man group just released the video for “Might As Well Be Me.” The song appears on Home Free’s So Long Dixie album, out last November.
In the video, all of the Home Free members go back in time for an old-school televised dating show, each of them vying for the attention of one female, with a surprising, unexpected ending.
Home Free will play several fairs and festivals over the next few months, before they embark on their long-awaited European tour, which was cut short in 2020 due to the pandemic. The tour will kick off on September 13 in Berlin, Germany. Home Free will perform 15 dates in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands, before wrapping up with three shows in England.
“It was a huge bummer at the time to have to skip on out of town, and it was actually quite difficult and uncertain with the potential looming border closures, but that’s a story for another time,” Home Free told their Patreon community, “The story today is that we’re finally coming back!”
When the Home Free members had to unexpectedly return from overseas three years ago, they went from being eager to perform abroad to being worried about getting home, all in the span of a few hours.
“We were up at 2:00 AM. Nobody went to bed,” Austin Brown previously told Everything Nash. “We saw the [President’s] address. I was at the airport with two of my bandmates at 4:00 AM and on a flight at 6:00. We just up and left from Munich to home in an instant. We got home and it was one of those things that, for a second, it was kind of a nice break. It was like, ‘Oh, this is kind of interesting.’ And then it was like, ‘Wait, are we going to get to go back on tour?’”
Howdy folks!! It’s only June, but we’re already getting in the holiday spirit 🎄🎁🕺
We are so excited to announce that we…
