Two years ago this week, Home Free performed with Alabama, singing “Christmas in Dixie,” as part of their Warmest Winter holiday special, The group recently shared footage from that performance, in honor of the late Jeff Cook, who passed away on November 7, after a ten-year battle with Parkinson’s disease.
“It was two years ago this week that we had the honor of performing ‘Christmas in Dixie’ with the legendary guys in Alabama,” Home Free shares on social media. “The performance holds even more weight for us this year, after the passing of our friend Jeff Cook. Christmas won’t be the same without you buddy. We know you’re celebrating with the big fella up there, so send us down some extra Christmas miracles this year.”
