Home Free i has made the difficult decision to postpone a few dates on their Dive Bar Saints Tour after someone on their crew tested positive for COVID-19. The postponed dates are in Dubuque, Iowa; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Grand Rapids, Michigan. All three dates had already been rescheduled from earlier this year, when Home Free decided to postpone their tour due to the pandemic.
Home Free announced the news on social media, only a couple of days after revealing the COVID-19 diagnosis.
“We have a brief update to share regarding our tour,” the group shared. “First off, we want to thank y’all so much for being a part of our Home Free community, and grabbing tickets to come see us perform! There’s nothing we love than seeing your smiling faces and singing and dancing along with y’all.
“While there’s nothing more we love than bringing our music to you all, we unfortunately have to postpone our shows this week in Dubuque, Cincinnati and Grand Rapids,” the statement continued. “A member of our touring party has contracted a breakthrough COVID case this past weekend. The safety of our crew, the folks who support us at venues, and of course our fans will always be our first priority.”

“We’re working very hard to reschedule these dates, and will update y’all soon — so please stay tuned on our socials,” Home Free concluded. “For those of you who bought tickets, they will be honored at the new date. Ticketmaster will be sending out an email to all verified ticket buyers over the next few days with more information.”
Earlier this week, Home Free announced that they were considering all of their options, following the positive COVID-19 test.
“A member of our touring party tested positive for COVID-19 tonight. They have a few symptoms, but nothing too serious or cause for immediate concern,” Home Free said at the time. “While we have taken great precaution to stay safe during this tour, (all of us being vaccinated, new VIP event protocols, suspended post-show signings, and more), we understand that seeing as many people as we do in such a short period as we do while touring comes with some inherent risks. We think it’s only responsible to let everyone know about this so you can take your own safety and the safety of others seriously.”
Currently, Home Free’s next scheduled show is on December 1, in Evansville, Indiana. Keep track of updates at HomeFreeMusic.com.
