Home Free just announced the release of their latest album, The Sounds of Lockdown. The 20-track project includes some of the group’s best covers, including “On The Road Again,” “Crazy,” “The Gambler,” “Bless The Broken Road” and more. The record also includes their “One Voice” collaboration with Billy Gilman, as well as ” I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” which they did with Peter Hollens.
Home Free will embark on the Canadian leg of their Dive Bar Saints Tour this week, which had to be postponed because of the pandemic.
“Canada, we love and miss y’all so much and can’t wait to get back out to you, but out of an abundance of caution, we have to reschedule the Canadian branch of our Dive Bar Saints tour,” Home Free announced last year. “Thank y’all so much for your patience, and we are so ready to see you when the time comes.”
CMA Fest has been canceled the last two years, also because of the pandemic.
“After thoughtful deliberation, we are saddened to share that CMA Fest will not take place in 2021,” the Country Music Association said last year. “We know our fans near and far have hoped that the festival could safely return this summer, and while we are encouraged to see COVID-19 vaccines becoming more widely available, we still face several challenges that prevent us from bringing our fans around the world the CMA Fest experience they have come to expect. But rest assured, we have already started planning what will be the most EPIC celebration of Country Music next summer. Mark your calendars for CMA Fest June 9-12, 2022!”
Home Free joins an impressive list of artists at the Chevy Riverfront Stage, including Lauren Alaina, Jimmie Allen, Tenille Arts, Morgan Evans, HARDY, Maddie & Tae, Scotty McCreery and more.
