More music is coming from Jake Hoot in 2023. The Season 17 winner of The Voice just teased a new song on TikTok, which seems to be a sweet love song, likely inspired by his wife, Brittney.
The chorus says, “I wanna dance with you and you alone / My love is endless, like the ocean leaves you breathless / Like how I picture Heaven, if I ever get to go / Relentless, like the sun burns in the desert / Ain’t a storm that I won’t weather / To make sure that you know / My heart is always yours to hold / My love is endless.” Hoot captioned the video with “Who’s your forever dance partner?” showing Hoot spontaneously dancing with Brittney in various locations

Hoot has released several songs inspired by his bride of almost two years, including “Wherever Time Goes,” a duet with Brittney, and “B4U.” He will likely have more songs this year not only about his wife, but his eldest daughter, Macy, and his infant daughter, Madilyn Bri, born in July.
Last year, Hoot hinted that he had a lot of new music coming for his fans, and said he would be open to a record deal, but only if it was the right one.
“I think everybody at the level that I’m at looks at a label deal and goes, ‘Man, that would be amazing to have,’ and it would,” Hoot told Everything Nash. “But I think I chased it really hard last year, and I got to a place where I just need to focus on what I’m doing, and focus on the brand I’m making, and focus on the music that we’re making. If something comes up, then great. But we’ve been very fortunate to get to play all over the United States, and open for Darius Rucker, Alabama, Jordan Davis. I mean, it’s been incredible. I got to open for Collin Raye.
“Getting to do all that stuff is just so important,” he adds. “I think if I am constantly chasing one thing, then I could lose sight of all the incredible things happening. And so I just told the team, if it comes up, that’s amazing. We will look at it. But until then, we’re just gonna focus on what we’re doing.”
Hoot will perform a show on February 18, supporting The Exceptional Bean, a coffee shop in Cookeville, Tennessee, located about 80 miles outside of Nashville, which employs individuals with various disabilities.
“I have a brother-in-law who has Down syndrome, and the fact that The Exceptional Bean employs individuals with disabilities, makes their cause something so close to my heart!” Hoot explains. “I hope to see a lot of people in the Upper Cumberland and surrounding communities come out to support this organization!”
