Jake Hoot and The Tenors performed together on the Grand Ole Opry on Wednesday, December 8, as part of the Opry Country Christmas. The singers not only performed their current hit, “When Christmas Has Come and Gone,” but a stunning version of “O Holy Night” as well, with Hoot sharing a portion of their performance on social media.
“Life’s not the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away,” King George,” Hoot wrote alongside the video. “Last night was one of those moments. Thank you The Tenors for making the last second trip down from Canada, thank you Grand Ole Opry for allowing us to sing on this magnificent stage, thank you to all of you who came out and helped us create such a special memory, and a very special thank you to The Opry singers who gave my little girl (Macy) her Opry debut! Last night was one for the books.”

Hoot previously said working with The Tenors was one of the favorite moments of his career so far, after winning Season 17 of The Voice in 2019.
“I think working with these guys and honestly meeting them, has been one of the highlights of my career,” Hoot told Everything Nash. “‘Cause they’re some of the nicest guys that you could ever meet, and some of the most professional — I don’t understand how they have the ears for music that they do, because they’re absolutely professionals. Great guys, and incredible people.”
The Tenors previously came to Nashville to record “When Christmas Has Come and Gone” at the legendary Starstruck Studios in Music City.
“He gave us the history of all the incredible artists that have recorded there,” The Tenors’ Clifton Murray recalls. “Those are hallowed halls that he invited us into. They had the lights all set up and the Christmas tree ready to go to bring that spirit of the season to the performance … We felt the Christmas spirit in the room. The spirit of the season just worked through us, and we created something magical on the day, and it started with that impetus of an idea that, that Jake had. We worked on it back and forth virtually to get it to the point where it is now.”
“When Christmas Has Come and Gone” is available across all streaming platforms.
