Jake Owen Donates $400,000 for Splash Pad at Kingston Springs Park

Jake Owen is putting his money to good use. The Florida native, who recently scored a No. 1 hit with his “Made For You” single, just funded a large splash pad at Burns Park, in his hometown of Kingston Springs, located just outside of Nashville. The new addition took the splash pad from about 900 feet to approximately 2200 feet.

“To see my daughter out here playing — it’s really something that was nothing more than an idea a couple of years ago, during the pandemic,” Owen tells WSMV. “That’s what we do with the Jake Owen Foundation, is help people in the places they call home, and this is my home.”

Owen, who had the idea to expand the splash pad after a conversation with Kingston Springs commissioner Glenn Remick, also announced the news on social media.

I’m so proud of what the Jake Owen Foundation has been able to accomplish over the last decade.

“We help people in the places they call home.” We also circle up great people, who want to make a difference and we make it happen!

Our Jake Owen Foundation and the incredible community of Kingston Springs, TN came together to build a splash pad for kids and their families to enjoy for years to come.
Watching these kids and their families light up with smiles and happiness is the greatest feeling of all.

Thanks to everyone involved in making this happen. My friends at The Golf Club of Tennessee, @beautifulkingstonsprings…

I believe we can all make a difference. Just ask, how can I help? Love y’all!

The Jake Owen Foundation was created in 2010. Although it began as a way to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, it has since expanded to helping others in need, wherever they live. Find more information at JakeOwenFoundation.org.
