Watch Jason Aldean’s Family Appear With Him in ‘Got What I Got’ Video

The video for Jason Aldean‘s latest single, “Got What I Got,” became a family affair! Shot in Destin, Florida, during the coronavirus pandemic. Jason’s wife, Brittany, along with 2-year-old son, Memphis, and 1-year-old daughter, Navy, starred in the video with Jason.

It’s appropriate that Brittany appears in the video with Jason, since the song is her favorite track from his latest 9 album.

“That’s her favorite song on the album,” Jason previously said at a media event. “That’s always a thing. On the last album, it was ‘You Make It Easy’ — that was the song she flipped about. And, obviously, that was a good call. Whenever she goes, ‘All the girls are gonna love that song.’ I’m like, ‘Alright, that’s why I cut it!’

“But I’m glad it’s making a connection,” he continued. “And ‘You Make It Easy’ was kind of like that; it had a little bit of a throwback feel on it, too. At this point, nine albums in, you’re just trying to go in and do some things that you feel like you haven’t done before. It’s a little hard when you’re nine albums in — you feel like you’ve cut songs every kind of way you can cut ’em at this point.”

Jason is enjoying plenty of time with his family, after being forced to postpone his We Back Tour until 2021, due to COVID-19.

“The health and safety of my fans, my band and crew and all the local workers in your town who help pull off our shows each night is something we’re not going to gamble on,” Jason explained. “I can promise you we’ll get you new dates as soon as we can, and that me and the boys will be back next year bigger and louder than ever.”
