Jason Crabb has big, big plans for 2023. The Christian singer, who just wrapped up his holiday tour, is already planning on new music, and more concert dates, in the new year.
“2023 is gonna be the biggest year that I have ever experienced in my life,” Crabb predicts to Everything Nash. “I believe that with all of my heart. Everything is just sitting there ready. It’s what we have been working for and working on for years. People that have rallied around us and loved on us and encouraged us, it’s almost like it’s there. It’s at that place, and you can just feel this next little bit that’s coming up in 2023, I think is gonna be the stage that sets us up for a few years to come.”
Crabb, who signed with Jay Demarcus‘ Red Street Records in 2020, is eager to release new music, and not just for himself.
“I’m excited about it for the ministry,” Crabb says. “That, and for what I do. For the music that I sing that I’m very passionate about. I’ve worked a long time to finally get to this place, and put a lot of hours, a lot of days, a lot of time in. I’m just ready for the ride. I’m very excited about it, and I’m excited about taking people that I love on this journey. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”
Crabb is thrilled to be working with DeMarcus, but the admiration goes both ways. The former Rascal Flatts member previously said that working with Crabb was one of his highest priorities at Red Street Records.
“This guy is one of the best singers in any genre, let alone just the CCM market. … The world needs and deserves to know who Jason Crabb is,” DeMarcus told Everything Nash. “And I cannot wait to be the vehicle for him to finally have a stage to show what he’s all about. I’m so thrilled to be the label representing him. He’s never really been given a fair shot, and I want everybody to do just that. Give him a fair shot, because this man’s voice is one of the best I’ve ever heard in my life. And that’s saying a lot because my cousin, Gary LeVox is one of the best on the planet.
“I’m proud to be the label representing him and more importantly, proud to call him my friend,” he added. “That’s been the best part of this whole thing.”
