Jelly Roll, Alexandra Kay, Kane Brown + More Part of New ‘Twisters’ Soundtrack

We already knew that Luke Combs is part of the soundtrack for the new Twisters movie, but now we know all of the artists that have contributed music to the film. The all-star soundtrack features not only Combs, but Jelly Roll, Alexandra Kay, Kane Brown, Shania Twain, Thomas Rhett, Megan Moroney and many more.

Kay shared the news on social media.

“Yall it’s been so hard to keep this huge secret!” Kay wrote.” I am so excited to share that I have a new song on Twisters: the Album!”

Kay and Jelly Roll are good friends, who will spend a lot of time together later this year. The “She Stayed” singer will join Jelly Roll on his Beautifully Broken Tour, kicking off on August 27 in Salt Lake City, Utah, with Zeiders also serving as one of the opening acts. Jelly Roll also invited Kay to join him at the Grand Ole Opry next month.

“Do you remember when you made your debut here, and I was in the video?” Jelly Roll asked Kay in a video clip she later posted. “Somebody talked about the Jelly Roll Opry debut. I want you to play for your second time with me, CMA week on June 5. Is that cool? Follow up your debut with me. We’ll sing one together that night. It will be fun.”

Kay previously praised the “Save Me” singer, after opening for him last summer.

“I got to witness this incredible human play to 18,000 people last night,” Kay wrote. “In the midst of his skyrocket to the top he is always reaching out a hand to someone who looks up to him. Last night, and many times before… that hand was extended to me. The words he spoke of me and my career on the stage last night will stay with me forever.. and the opportunity to perform in front of his loyal and dedicated fan base was an absolute honor. Thank you Jelly Roll and ND State Fair for having me!”

Combs is thrilled to have the first song out from the upcoming movie, especially one as powerful as “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma.”

“This song is about everything that I think this movie is about,” Combs told Audacy. “High-energy, high-octane, I think the song really musically matches that vibe. It’s really sort of abstract, lyrically speaking, I think that was done intentionally. We were really just trying to sonically match the vibe that they were looking for with this film.”

Both Twisters: The Album and the Twisters movie will be available everywhere on July 19. Pre-order of the soundtrack can be found at TwistersTheAlbum.com.
