We now know who two of the performers will be for New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash. Jelly Roll and Kane Brown have been announced as headliners for the star-studded show, which will air on CBS on December 31, from 8:00 to 10:00 PM ET and 10:30 PM to 1:30 AM ET, and stream on Paramount+. The free show will take place at Nashville’s Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park
More performers are expected to be announced shortly. Last year’s event was headlined by Thomas Rhett, Lainey Wilson and Lynyrd Skynyrd, with performances by Brown, plus Morgan Wallen, HARDY, Blake Shelton with Trace Adkins, Carly Pearce, Jon Pardi, Jackson Dean, Cody Johnson, Brothers Osborne with Trombone Shorty, Megan Moroney, Parker McCollum and Bailey Zimmerman.
In previous years, two heated tents were available for guests to stay warm. In addition, a Designated Driver Zone tent was available for those choosing not to drink alcohol, with free coffee, sodas, water and light snacks. Various food trucks, and more than 250 portable toilets were also on-site for guests.
The New Year’s Eve celebration will cap off what has already been an unforgettable year for both artists. Jelly Roll has a Top 10 hit with “I Am Not Okay,” from his forthcoming Beautifully Broken album, out on October 11. The Nashville native, who is currently headlining his Beautifully Broken Tour, started the year with two Grammy Awards nominations, for the all-genre Best New Artist, and for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, for his “Save Me” collaboration with Wilson.
Jelly Roll was also just announced as a performer for the 50th season premiere of Saturday Night Live, a milestone he shared on social media.

Brown was just announced as the recipient of the Country Champion Award, at the upcoming People’s Choice Country Awards. Earlier this year, Brown received the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, honoring his philanthropy and charitable giving, including his ongoing work with the Boys and Girls Club. Brown, who became a father of three this year with the arrival of his son, Krewe Allen Brown, spent much of the year headlining his massive In The Air Tour.
Both Jelly Roll and Brown share nominations in several categories at the People’s Choice Country Awards, including The People’s Artist of 2024 and The Male Artist of 2024. The two talented singers each had music in the Twisters movie, out now. Jelly Roll sang both “Leave The Light On” with Alexandra Kay and “Dead End Road,” while Brown sang “Country Classic.”
Brown will also perform at the People’s Choice Country Awards. The People’s Choice Country Awards will air live on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 8:00 PM ET on NBC and Peacock from the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
