The nightly concerts for the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix just got a lot more star power. Jon Pardi has just been announced as the headliner for Saturday night’s show, joining an impressive list of artists already announced as performers for the three-day event taking place August 6 to 8, including Danielle Bradbery, Justin Moore, Callista Clark, Riley Green, Jamey Johnson and Tim Dugger, among others.
Military personnel and first responders will also be honored, with Freedom Friday Tribute Concert: Music City’s Best Honor All Those Who Serve and Protect, featuring Brooks & Dunn, Jamey Johnson, Tyler Farr and Vince Neil
“We are incredibly proud to partner with Wesley Financial Group to honor the frontline heroes who serve and protect us on a daily basis – and excited to announce our Freedom Friday line-up,” says Matt Crews, CEO, Big Machine Music City Grand Prix. “Our hope is this performance shows a small token of appreciation to those in the service that work so hard to allow us to live lives of freedom – and enjoy events like this year’s Big Machine Music City Grand Prix.”
The Big Machine Music City Grand Prix will take place on a temporary 2.17-mile circuit in Nashville and around the Nissan Stadium campus. The course will cross the Cumberland River via the Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge. The course makes the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix the only current event in motorsports to cross over a major body of water.
“As a partner, Big Machine will be bringing all of its entertainment experience to ensure that the inaugural IndyCar weekend will combine all things music and racing for an incredible weekend of entertainment,” says Big Machine Label Group President and CEO Scott Borchetta. “You don’t have to be a race fan to enjoy what this event will bring to the city. But I bet you leave a race fan.”
Pardi is back at radio with “Tequila Little Time,” from his 2019 Heartache Medication album. A deluxe version of Heartache Medication will be released on October 2.
Pardi will perform on the festival’s main stage at 8:30 PM. Fireworks over the Cumberland River will immediately follow Pardi’s performance. Find more information on the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix, including ticket options, hotel packages and more, by visiting the event’s website.
