Kane Brown Drops a Major Hint About His Next Album

Kane Brown is dropping a few hints about his next album. The 30-year-old, who already had a No. 1 hit from the forthcoming project with “I Can Feel It,” hints that there might be a few familiar faces on his new set of tunes.

“It’s interesting because I’m working on my album right now, and every collab that’s on my album is someone I’ve worked with before,” Brown teases (via People). “I’m keeping the circle small.”

Brown currently has a Top 5 hit with “Miles On It,” his duet with Marshmello. He says fans will soon have something new to get excited about, although he keeps silent on what that might be.

“We just ended our tour,” Brown hints. “We have another announcement coming up.”

Brown has already collaborated with several artists from other genres, including Khalid, Nelly, Blackbear and more. As country music becomes more and more open to artists from other genres partnering with country music stars, Brown rightfully takes some of the credit for the new era within country music.

“I feel like I helped start that,” Brown tells E! News. “So, for me, I love music. I grew up on country music, but then I went to so many different schools, I got a taste of everything and I got to do what I do now.”

This isn’t the first time Brown has hinted about his new record. The Georgia native has been vocal about his love of working with other artists, which he says will be evident on his next project.

“I keep getting songs and I’m like, ‘This is it,’ and I have so many,” Brown tells Country Now. “I was trying to go to the country route where everything’s super country, but then we just get these other collabs that are just massive.”

Brown is the latest recipient of The Country Champion Award. The singer-songwriter received the honor at the recent People’s Choice Country Awards. Brown was given the trophy because of his philanthropy and generosity, especially with the Boys and Girls Club of America.

“I’m always terrible at this thing. My publicist told me what to say, and I forgot already,” Brown joked when he took the stage. “I just want to say, I always look down on myself. Every day. I always look down on myself. I never think I should be on this stage, so I just want to say, for any kid that’s watching, anybody that has a dream, anybody that wants to give back … there’s a lot of people that need your help, and a lot of people that keep their head up and they don’t help anybody out, even though they can.

“Dreams, helping people out, and don’t listen to people who say no, or tell you no when you’re trying to do something, that’s all it’s about,” he added.

Brown’s last album, Different Man, was released in 2022. He was just announced as one of the headliners, along with Jelly Roll, for this year’s New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash. Find all of Brown’s music and upcoming shows at KaneBrownMusic.com.
