Kane Brown Reveals Plans to Release Another Album in 2025

Kane Brown‘s The High Road album came out last month, but he is already hard at work on a new record. The father of three reveals that he is currently working on a new project, which he hopes fans will be able to hear in 2025.

“We’re trying to put another one out this year,” Brown hints to Audacy. “I don’t know if it’s going to happen, but we’re trying.”

According to Brown, he still has plenty of music he wants to make, even after The High Road.

“I just want to put a new album out,” he explains. “I feel like I’ve just been chilling, so I’m ready to go. I’m getting hungry again.”

Brown’s moving on to his next musical chapter doesn’t at all mean he wasn’t pleased with The High Road. On the contrary, Brown says the record, his fourth, is also his favorite.

“This is by far my favorite album, from the sequencing to the songwriting to the different sounds. There’s definitely a song for everybody,” Brown tells The Associated Press.” “My other albums, I always kind of cared what people thought about. And this album, we don’t… We gave our everything into the songs.”

Included on The High Road is a song called “Haunted,” which he sings with Jelly Roll. The song is an open and honest look at Brown’s ongoing battle with depression, one he now opening up about in hopes of helping others.

“I hope it will give awareness to other people,” Brown tells American Songwriter. “One of the main things is actually talking about it. If you don’t talk about it, that’s what makes it dangerous. If nobody knows, nobody can help you.”

“The hardest thing right now is just because I’m going through it, and I have a beautiful family that I need to be here for … I’m still haunted,” he continues. “I still have all these crazy feelings of hurting myself and doing the worst things. Money does not solve your problems.”

It’s been a little more than eight years since Brown’s eponymous freshman record was released. Since then, Brown has worked hard to continue to improve his craft as a songwriter and artist.

“At the end of the day, all I ever try to do is be better than I was,” he reflects. “I hope my original fans sit down and say, ‘He’s growing, and this is why I love him.’ And then I hope people that don’t ever listen to me or don’t like me can like one song or also say, ‘I can tell that he is trying or he is growing.’”

Brown will embark on his The High Road Tour on March 13, joined by Scotty McCreeryAshley CookeMitchell Tenpenny and Dasha. Find all of Brown’s music and upcoming shows, at KaneBrownMusic.com.
