We now know who will be performing for the three-hour CMA Fest TV special, airing on July 19 on ABC. The show will feature performances by Keith Urban, Alabama, Luke Combs, including a song with Vince Gill, Eric Church, Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson with Reba McEntire, HARDY, Ashley McBryde, Luke Bryan and more.
Dierks Bentley, Lainey Wilson and Elle King, who hosted the event, will also perform during the broadcast. Bentley and King previously hosted the TV special in 2022 as well. For Bentley, it was one of the highest honors of his professional career to be asked to host the important event.
“Hosting the CMA Fest is the ultimate gig,” Bentley told his record label ahead of CMA Fest. “It’s so fun. I mean, I’ve hosted some big awards shows as well, and those are great too, but this is a four-day festival, so I get to be there for four days. Which, if I was doing it by myself, it would be great because you get a chance to see all your artist buddies you don’t see very often, hear great music, see the all-stars of the country music fans, people that travel from all over the world to be here, and they bring the most energy.
“It’s the greatest fans to play in front of,” he adds. “But, I get to co-host this with two of the funniest people I know – Elle King and Lainey Wilson.”
See a list of all of the performances below. The CMA Fest TV special will air at 9:00 PM ET on ABC. Ahead of the televised special, CMA Fest: 50 Years of Fan Fair will air on Tuesday, July 18, also at 9:00 PM ET on ABC. The CMA-produced documentary takes a look back at the unique history of the largest and longest-running country music festival, including exclusive artist interviews and never-before-seen archival content.
Passes for the 2024 CMA Fest will be available beginning on July 18.
