Kenny Chesney Reveals More Fan Experiences at Las Vegas Residency

Kenny Chesney is doing all he can to make sure his Live at Sphere Las Vegas residency is one his fans will never, ever forget. After announcing that he was adding a Sandbar similar to his concerts, and planning on making each show truly unique, the 57-year-old reveals more of his plans to give his fans the best experience they could possibly have.

“A lot has happened,” Chesney says of his plans for Live at Sphere Las Vegas. “When you start creating something like this, you really step back and think about it. And these crazy summers tours, the fun and music made, wouldn’t have happened without No Shoes Nation, so I wanted to pull back the curtain and let them see at least a piece of it.”

Chesney also announces the addition of Guitars, Tiki Bars and a Whole Lotta Love, in partnership with Vibee, a two-story space at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, which is the only hotel connected to The Sphere. Guitars, Tiki Bars, and a Whole Lotta Love will feature pictures, passes, license plates, handwritten lyrics, instruments and more, all from Chesney’s more than two decades of selling out stadiums on his tours.

Included in the new space will be a beach bar, called Spread the Love, where fans can gather for a drink, with or without alcohol, and connect with people ahead of Chesney’s show.

“So much about how we do what we do is different with Sphere, so I want to make sure people can still have the core experiences,” Chesney says. “Or maybe something that builds from that, creates a whole new way to pre-game, come together and just enjoy all the music we’ve shared whether you’re coming to the show or not.”

While Live at Sphere Las Vegas will mean Chesney is staying in one place, he still wants fans to have the same experience when they travel from city to city to see him perform.

“I know this is a whole other way to play live,” Chesney says. “But that doesn’t mean we don’t feed like vampires off that energy down front. Everything the people in the Sandbar give us, we turn right around and put into the music. There’s a connection there that’s unlike any other. And when we look down, see everybody singing along, rocking out or dancing, it drives us to another level.”

Chesney has plenty to celebrate besides his upcoming Las Vegas residency. The Tennessee native will become an official member of the Country Music Hall of Fame this fall.

“That’s just something you don’t dare to imagine,” the “Just To Say We Did” singer says. “I would never have even thought about being here, because it’s almost too much. Just walking past so many of these bronzes, realizing how many are friends or whose music I’ve listened to my whole life. This is an honor that extends beyond anything my heart would dare think.”

A very limited number of tickets remain for Chesney’s Live at Sphere Las Vegas residency. Find more information at KennyChesney.com.
