Luke Bryan, Brad Paisley and Lynyrd Skynyrd have just been announced as headliners for the 2020 Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam! The event will take place in Panama City Beach, at Frank Brown Park on Labor Day weekend, September 4 to 6.
“We’ve said we want to play every venue and market we’ve ever visited around the world and even some we haven’t, so we get to see all of Skynyrd Nation,” said Lynyrd Skynyrd lead singer Johnny Van Zant in a statement. “We didn’t get to play Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam in 2016 because of a hurricane so we are excited to return to the festival with our farewell tour!”
Panama City Beach has begun the process of reopening amid COVID-19 concerns, but Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam Executive Producer Rendy Lovelady assures country music fans that the annual event will take place once again this year.
“All plans are moving forward for what we feel will be our biggest festival ever,” Rendy maintained. “Our Jammers are some of the most dedicated music lovers on the planet, and we can’t wait to get them all down here for some fun in the sun!”
“Our hotels, condos, restaurants and other city attractions are excited to welcome our fans back this September,” said Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam COO Mark Sheldon. “Tripadvisor ranked Panama City Beach #8 in their list of Top 25 Beaches in the United States, and we couldn’t agree more.”
Luke is no stranger to Panama City Beach. The American Idol judge performed his annual Spring Break concert at the popular Spinnaker’s Beach Club for several years, before wrapping it up with a two-day packed concert in 2015. The shows coincided with Luke’s Spring Break albums, which also ended in 2015 with Spring Break…Checkin’ Out. Luke also performed at Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam in 2017.
Luke will take the stage on September 4, with Brad performing on September 5, and Lynyrd Skynyrd closing out the weekend on Sunday, September 6.
Other performers for the 2020 Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam will be announced at a later date. Discount options are available for those in the military and first responders. More information, including various ticket options, can be found at GulfCoastJam.com.
