Luke Bryan Launches His Own SiriusXM Channel, ‘Country Boy Radio’

Luke Bryan now has his own SiriusXM channel, but it will only be available for a limited time. The Georgia native just launched Country Boy Radio, available on channel 79 through October 17, and on the SiriusXM app through October 24.

The channel is named after Bryan’s latest Mind Of A Country Boy album, released last month.

“I’ve been able to take my time and really compile songs for this album,” Bryan says of the record. “If it’s a song that I cut two or three years ago, and I still love it, and it still sounds fresh, then I feel like it’ll stand the test of time … I think this album, as I’ve tried to do with all my albums, just has a little bit of everything.

“I do some things different vocally on this one that I’ve not done before,” he continues. “It’s about each song having its place and having its meaning. It’s trying not to be overly redundant with songs. I think that’s why I’ve been blessed to have a long career and what I feel like this album’s going to do.”

Bryan’s freshman I’ll Stay Me album came out in 2007. In the 17 years since then, the 48-year-old has continued to have hit singles, successful albums and sold-out tour dates, with no plans of slowing down anytime soon.

“I’m still loving it, and as long as I am I’ll keep doing it,” Bryan tells Forbes. “When I look back on my career and how we’ve accomplished even more than I dreamed of, when the day comes down the road, I’ll be able to walk away with only fond memories and proud of how we built the dream.”

Bryan, who celebrated 30 No. 1 singles last year, just landed at the top of the charts again with “Love You, Miss You, Mean It,” from Mind of a Country Boy.

“This song was special from the first time I heard it,” Bryan says (via Songfacts). “‘Love You, Miss You, Mean It’ is obviously about kids falling in love and that was their saying to let each other know that they loved one another.

“It’s about young love,” he continues. “It’s about going off to college and trying to make that work and it not working and then going full circle. I’ve kind of lived that world with my relationship with my wife and I, and I know a lot of other people out there have too.”

Bryan will host the upcoming 2024 CMA Awards, along with Lainey Wilson and Peyton Manning. The ceremony will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, November 20, on ABC. The ceremony will also stream on Hulu the next day.
