Luke Bryan Postpones Album and Tour Due to COVID-19

For Luke Bryan, the health and safety of his fans and friends comes first, which is why he made the difficult decision to postpone both the release date of his upcoming Born Here, Live Here, Die Here album, as well as his Proud to Be Right Here Tour, due to COVID-19 concerns. The record was originally scheduled to be released on April 24, with his tour scheduled to kick off on May 28.

“I wanted to reach out myself and let you know that we have decided to push back the release of my next album, Born Here, Live Here, Die Here to August 7, 2020 as well as the start of my Proud to Be Right Here Tour to July 10, 2020,” Luke said in a statement. “What an incredibly confusing and scary time our world is facing right now, and it is important we continue to follow the guidelines we have been given and do our part to keep everyone safe.

“With that in mind, we are choosing to stay home at this time so we can have fun sharing this music and tour with you this summer,” he continued. “I truly believe that music can provide all forms of emotional connections for everyone and I can’t wait to get on the road and share these new songs with you soon.”

Luke’s Born Here, Live Here, Die Here album is his seventh studio record, and one he is eager to share with his fans.

“‘Proud to be right here’ is a phrase from my new album’s title track, ‘Born Here, Live Here, Die Here,” Bryan previously said of the project. “From the moment I first heard it, I loved that this song related so closely to how I grew up and how I still have so many ties to my hometown. It’s a connection I feel is so important in country music.”

Luke will be joined on the road by Morgan Wallen, Runaway June and Caylee Hammack. Find more information at LukeBryan.com.
