Luke Combs Reveals Opening Date for His Category 10 Nashville Bar

We now know when Luke Combs‘ massive Category 10 Nashville bar is opening. The Grand Ole Opry member reveals that his new bar, restaurant and music venue — which boasts the largest dance floor and stage in downtown Nashville — will be open to the public beginning on Saturday, November 2.

Combs shared the exciting news on social media.

Category 10, located at 120 Second Avenue North, is in the place where the Wildhorse Saloon once existed. His biggest goal is for everyone from rising artists and new songwriters, to established artists and hitmakers, to have a place to perform.

“Cat 10 is going to be a place that artists of all levels want to play downtown,” Combs says. “We are building a spot where we can put on a high-level touring act show one night and a songwriter showcase the next. There isn’t anything like this venue, and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it.”

The 34-year-old is especially honoring the songwriters, with The Still, an intimate lounge on the second floor, with a wide variety of bourbon, hand-picked by Combs.

“It’s important for me, I think, to have opportunities as a songwriter to showcase your ability,” Combs says. “I remember just being able to play for other songwriters was a huge thing for me. So I think having a very, very, very high-end songwriters night would be something that I would love, for new artists to come and be able to play their favorite song, or the best song that they have in front of other songwriters.”

Other areas of Category 10 include The Honky-Tonk, two stories with live music, two bars and a retail shop; Hurricane Hall, with the massive dance floor and an immersive light and sound experience, and the 5 Leaf Clover Sports Bar, with large screens throughout the room airing various sports, plus a real-time sports ticker. The Eye, which will be the largest outdoor space, with a 7000-square-foot rooftop bar, will open in 2025.

Before the opening of Category 10, Combs and his good friend, Eric Church  will headline the Concert for Carolina. Joined by Keith Urban, Bailey Zimmerman, Sheryl Crow, Billy Strings and James Taylor, the event is raising money for North Carolina, as they continue their recovery after the devastating Hurricane Helene.

“I was obviously at home watching the news the day after everything started coming out about the storm there,” Combs recalled on Good Morning America. “This was the first guy I called. I know how much our state means to him and to myself, and I knew that he would be willing to do whatever it took to help out. I had this crazy idea to do a show at Bank of America [Stadium] … I think it’s gonna be a really special night.”

Concert for Carolina will take place on October 26. More information on Category 10, including what guests can expect opening weekend, is available at Category10.com.
