They might be busy country artists, but many of them took time to celebrate their own wives and mothers on Mother’s Day, sharing photos of their celebrations on social media.

Luke Combs honored his wife, Nicole, who gave birth to their firstborn, son Tex, last June, and is currently expecting the couple’s second child.

“I’ve gotten to spend the last 11 months watching this incredible woman become the most amazing mother in the world,” Combs boasted. “She is strong, patient, kind, and I’m so lucky to live my life alongside her. I love you babe. Happy first Mothers Day.”

 

Scotty McCreery‘s wife, Gabi, also celebrated her first Mother’s Day, after giving birth to their son, Avery, in October.

“Happy 1st Mother’s Day to the most amazing mom out there!” McCreery wrote, sharing a series of photos. “You are the most selfless, caring, patient, loving person I know and Avery is so lucky to have you as his mom! You amaze me every day, and I am so thankful to have a front row seat to watch you do what you were born to do. Love you.”

 

Thomas Rhett honored his wife, Lauren Akins, along with his mother, mother-in-law and stepmother.

“Surrounded by some of the best moms (aka superheroes) in the world,” he captioned the montage. “Thankful for all four of you – you’re for sure part angels. Happy Mother’s Day!! I love you and we’d be lost without ya!”

Carrie Underwood honored her mom, along with her mother-in-law and sisters as well.

“Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there…and especially to my own mother!” she wrote. “You are loved. You are appreciated! You are irreplaceable! May you all feel celebrated today…and a special shout-out to my mother-in-law, Karen and Mama Donna for your love and motherly roles in my life!”

 

Kenny Chesney‘s mom, Karen, was just 19 years old when she gave birth to him, a fact he touched on in his heartwarming post.

“Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful mother,” Chesney posted. “You gave me the gift of connection, the love of family, the love of music and the love of life. You were a child having a child and we grew up together. I am so proud of you and love you!!!”

 

Cody Johnson honored both his own mother and his wife, Brandi, who is also the mother to his two children.
