Meghan Patrick Invited By Terri Clark to Make Her Opry Debut [WATCH]

Another dream is coming true for Meghan Patrick. The rising country star will soon make her Grand Ole Opry debut, invited by one of her musical idols, Terri Clark.

Patrick shared the video of the moment Clark invited to perform at the Grand Ole Opry, via FaceTime.

“Dreams really do come true, especially when Terri Clark calls.” Patrick captions the video. “I am honored, freaking out, ‘moments like this only happen once’ happy, and READY to step into the circle. I can’t wait to share this pinnacle moment with all the people who helped me get here. God is good, and that’s who I’ll be praying to backstage on April 11th…right before I step out onto The Grand Ole Opry stage.”

Patrick, who is married to fellow country singer, Mitchell Tenpenny, was surprised after the phone call with a call from her husband, who said he struggled to keep it a secret from her over the last few weeks.

Patrick released “She’s No Good For Me” at the start of the year, a song she wrote alongside Michael Whitworth, Trannie Anderson and Jake Mitchell. The Canadian says the song is a culmination of how hard she has worked to find her place in country music.

“I have waited a long time to put out ‘She’s No Good For Me,’ and releasing it feels like a major milestone in the journey I’ve been on the last few years,” Patrick admits. “It has not been an easy one, and it has required a lot of strength and dedication to growth and change. I have been bound and determined to not only find and fall in love with my best self, but find my best, most authentic self musically and dive into her unapologetically. This song is just the beginning of me introducing y’all to her… I hope you love her as much as I do.”

Patrick is following “She’s No Good For Me” with “Ours,” scheduled to be released on March 10. She will be joined at the Grand Ole Opry by Ricky Skaggs, Dustin Lynch and The Isaacs, with more artists to be announced shortly.
