Morgan Wallen‘s fourth studio album will be out on May 16. The East Tennessee native announces the release of his next record, I’m the Problem. The project includes the title track, which is his current Top 10 single, plus the previously-released tracks “Lies Lies Lies,” “Love Somebody” and “Smile.”
Wallen will also release two new songs, “I’m A Little Crazy” and “Just In Case” at midnight tonight.
“I have been a problem, for sure, and I’ve got no problem admitting that,” Wallen says. “But there are other sides to me as well. I’ve spent the last 11 months really trying to figure out, ‘Do I still want to be the problem? Is it time to move past that phase in my life?’ I think it probably is, and this might be the last time I get a chance to honestly say it.”
Wallen recently revealed that his album was finished, dropping a clip of “Just In Case.”

Wallen has broken plenty of records with his superstar career. “Love Somebody” was one of his biggest hits, topping the charts in 11 countries when it was released.
“’Love Somebody’ is a little bit of a new approach lyrically and sonically,” Wallen says of the song, which he wrote with John Byron, Ashley Gorley, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Elof Loelv and Ryan Vojtesa, “I wanted to try something different, with what I wanted to talk about, how I wanted it to sound, and we were inspired by Latin-leaning influences. I’m really excited about this song and pumped that it is out.”
The 31-year-old will embark on his I’m The Problem Tour in June, joined by an impressive list of opening acts that includes Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel joining in direct support. Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson will open the shows on select nights as well.
“We made so many lifelong memories on the One Night at A Time World Tour, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for my fans and the way they showed up each night,” Wallen says. “As I’ve been working on new music, it has inspired me to get back on the road and share these new songs with each of you on the I’m The Problem Tour. See y’all there.”
Wallen has yet to release a track list for I’m The Problem, although fans suspect it could be a double album. He will headline his own Sand In My Boots festival, taking place in Gulf Shores, Ala., May 16-18, 2025. The event is sold out.
