Morgan Wallen‘s Hyde Park show in London just got a lot more star power. The Tennessee native will be joined by several artists for the July 4 show, including the previously-announced Riley Green, plus Alexandra Kay, Ernest, Ella Langley, Alana Springsteen and more.
“Last fall was my first time in the UK and man, I loved it,” Wallen says of his overseas date. “I saw so much while I was there, and the people were incredible. To play where legendary artists like Pink Floyd and The Rolling Stones have played is a huge honor for me and my band, and we can’t wait to be back.”
The news comes at an especially pivotal time for Kay, who just celebrated her return to the Grand Ole Opry. Kay will also have a song in the new Twisters movie, a collaboration with Jelly Roll, whom she will also head out on tour with, for his Beautifully Broken Tour, which begins on August 27.
Wallen is continuing his One Night At A Time World Tour through the summer, playing back-to-back nights at stadiums across the country. It’s part of Wallen’s overwhelming success, one that has both its perks and pitfalls.
“Everything has gotten so, so huge,” Wallen recently told Billboard. “I don’t really go to the grocery store. I have to go through back doors to go to the doctor and all that kind of stuff. I still try to hold on to as much [normalcy] as possible. I like driving, so I try to drive as much as I can by myself.”
Wallen also just opened his own six-story This Bar and Tennessee Kitchen, located in downtown Nashville.
“I sing about finding myself in ‘this bar’ and now it’s coming to life,” Wallen said when the new space was announced. “This venue will hold true to everything I love and is inspired by my fans and the way they have embraced me and my music. We’re designing a menu around some of my family favorites, so it brings a piece of East Tennessee to Music City. I hope This Bar is a place you’ll want to find yourself in and make memories with your friends and family and celebrate the way country music has brought us all together.”
Wallen’s This Bar and Tennessee Kitchen is located at 107 4th Avenue North. Tickets for Wallen’s Hyde Park show can be found here. All of Wallen’s music and upcoming showscan be found at MorganWallen.com.
