Morgan Wallen Announces Neyland Stadium Show: ‘I’m Coming Home’

Morgan Wallen‘s One Night At A Time Tour has taken him to massive stadiums all over the country, but soon he will perform at his favorite stadium of all time. The East Tennessee native just announced a show on September 22 at University of Tennessee’s own Neyland Stadium in Knoxville.

“I’ve had the honor of playing in a lot of college, MLB and NFL stadiums the past two years, but getting to play to my hometown at Neyland Stadium, nothing tops this for a boy from East Tennessee,” Wallen says.

Wallen also announced the news in a video shared on his social media channels, including his Instagram account, which he reactivated to announce the new tour stop.

“I’m coming home,” Wallen captioned the video.

Wallen recently made history when he performed on July 4th at Hyde Park in London. Joined by Riley Green, Alexandra KayErnest, Ella Langley, Alana Springsteen and more, the show marked the first time first time a contemporary country artist has headlined an all-genre festival, which also became largest country concert ever held in the UK.

The exciting milestone was followed by an unexpected disappointment, for both Wallen and his fans, when he canceled two shows due to illness.

“I hate to reschedule shows but I powered through being sick in Tampa last night, and unfortunately woke up feeling way worse today,” Wallen shared over the weekend. “I would not give you guys anywhere near 100% tonight and as a result, I need to move tonight’s Tampa show to Oct. 4 and next week’s Charlotte shows to Oct. 18 and 19.”

Wallen may be from East Tennessee, but he has his roots firmly planted in Nashville. The 31-year-old just opened his This Bar and Tennessee Kitchen, located at 107 4th Avenue North in downtown Nashville.

“I sing about finding myself in ‘this bar’ and now it’s coming to life,” Wallen said when the new space was announced. “This venue will hold true to everything I love and is inspired by my fans and the way they have embraced me and my music. We’re designing a menu around some of my family favorites, so it brings a piece of East Tennessee to Music City. I hope This Bar is a place you’ll want to find yourself in and make memories with your friends and family and celebrate the way country music has brought us all together.”

Wallen will be joined by HARDY and Ernest for his Neyland Stadium show. Tickets will be available beginning on Wednesday, July 17, at 11:00 AM ET. Find all of Wallen’s music and upcoming shows at MorganWallen.com.
