Nashville’s popular Indian restaurant Taj is doing their part to help those who are struggling with food insecurity due to COVID-19. In a post shared on social media, the south Nashville eatery offered to provide food for those who were going hungry, even offering to deliver it themselves.
“SERIOUSLY……If ANYONE is not working/not getting an income and runs out of food…please don’t go to sleep with an empty stomach,” Taj posted on their Facebook page. “Don’t be afraid or embarrassed to send us a private message. I will drop it off and go, and pretend it never happened! Blessings.”
Taj has been named one of the eight best Indian restaurants in Nashville by Eater. It normally offers a lunch buffet from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, six days a week. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. Taj is located at 3934 Nolensville Pike, Nashville, TN 37211. They are currently offering their food for both take-out and delivery.
