How the New Year Will Ring In:
New York City might have the ball drop at midnight, but appropriately, Nashville celebrates with the dropping of a music note, which takes place at the stroke of midnight, along with a 90-second fireworks display, along with 100 pounds of biodegradable confetti falling on the crowd. In addition to watching the entire program on CBS, CNN will also air the music note drop at midnight.

For those who are sober and attending in-person this year, a new Sober Space will be available, sponsored by Cumberland Heights. The space will offer a “welcoming environment for the recovery community, providing a welcoming environment for individuals, families, and allies of those in recovery from addiction and alcoholism,” offering alcohol-free drinking and like-minded community opportunities.
A designated driver zone, offering complimentary non-alcholic drinks and light snacks, will be on-site as well.
