Old Dominion had hoped to be back on the road soon, but unfortunately, lead singer Matt Ramsey is still recovering from injuries he sustained in a recent ATV accident. Ramsey announced the news on social media, revealing that the band was being forced to postpone a few more shows on their No Bad Vibes Tour.
“I just want to say thank you, first of all, for all the support and love that you guys are sending me,” Ramsey said. “The messages are awesome, and they’re helping me get stronger. I’m getting stronger every day, about a week out from the accident.”
Ramsey shows his walker, which he now needs to get around, revealing that his bandmate, Trevor Rosen, named it after another country star.
“I’m still hanging out with Walker Hayes, as Trevor has named it,” Ramsey says. “But I just want to say, unfortunately not strong enough to make it up onto the bus yet. So we are going to have to push Albany, New York, and Reading, Pennsylvania, and Bangor, Maine shows. We’re going to have to reschedule those. I’m not sure on the dates yet; they’re working on those, finalizing those, but they will be soon announced.

“Watch your email and check our website,” he continues. “We will make it up to you. I’m so sorry. I know how excited you guys get for these shows. And me too. It’s really tough to be sidelined right now, but we’ll see you soon. I promise. I’m getting stronger.”

Old Dominion recently released the video for “Memory Lane.” The song is from their four-song Memory Lane (Sampler), out now.
“’Memory Lane’ has already become such a special song for us,” Ramsey says. “This is one of the most ambitious videos we’ve ever put out as we took a different approach in telling our story visually. There are so many memories and very personal touches intertwined in the visuals. It’s a special one to us and we hope it is to you too.”
