Rascal Flatts just dropped a new song, “Quick, Fast, In a Hurry,” featuring Rachel Wammack! The trio, which includes Gary LeVox, Joe Don Rooney and Jay DeMarcus, included it on their upcoming How They Remember You EP.
“As soon as we heard this song, we knew we had to cut it,” Jay said of the song, which was written by Kelly Archer, AJ Babcock, Pete Good and Brandon Ratcliff. “The chorus is so hooky and we instantly fell in love with it. And I just love how Gary and Rachel’s voices sound together on it. We’re excited for people to hear this one.”
“It’s an absolute honor to be featured on [Rascal Flatts] new song ‘Quick, Fast, In A Hurry’ – available now! This song is my JAMMM and I had so much fun recording it. And nowww I’m so excited to vibe out with y’all all summer long.”

Rascal Flatts planned on being on their farewell Life is a Highway Tour this year, and admit they have no idea what next year will look like, since they are off the road because of COVID-19.
“Going into this year we were gearing up for an emotional year, for sure, and every show was gonna matter just so much more with each one we did,” Joe Don said (via their record label). “Just to have your legs cut completely out from under you with all your plans, this has definitely changed all those emotions and all those feelings we thought we’d be feeling. It’s also a celebration of 20 years, which is just an incredible milestone for anything, to be doing it for 20 years is really special. We had so much that we were looking forward to with this whole year, and this has just completely wiped all that out.
“It’s almost like a clean slate of emotions going, ‘Well, when, if ever again, can we maybe take what this year was gonna be and apply it to the year ahead, whenever that might be,’” he continued. “We just don’t know. We’re completely clueless for what that might be. So the emotions I think have changed a little bit maybe, because now we’re just looking to see what we might be able to do. But the one thing remains true, is that we’re still able to make music and put music out and that’s got us on a pretty good high right now.”
Gary has already said he is working on a solo Christian album, and plans to work on a solo country album as well.
