Reba McEntire is once again postponing her Reba: Live in Concert tour dates, this time to 2022. The singer, who planned on originally launching the tour in 2020, shared the disappointing news on her website.
“We’ve waited as long as we possibly could to make a decision, but unfortunately we’re not going to be able to play our 2021 Reba: Live In Concert dates,” McEntire wrote. “As much as I wish we could get back out on the road, it’s just not possible yet. However, don’t worry…we are going to reschedule the dates for 2022. We cannot wait to get back out on the road and bring you our brand new show! If you’ve got your tickets, hang on to them – they’ll be good for the new dates.”
Most of the tour dates were able to rescheduled, except for one show, slated for July 16 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Those concert tickets will be refunded.

The Country Music Hall of Fame member also hints that she has something else in the works, which will be announced shortly.
“I’ve got some big news coming later this year that I hope will be worth the wait for all of us!” McEntire wrote. “Stay tuned for some exciting announcements on tour, music and more coming soon.”
McEntire, who seems to be working on a new album of some of her former hits, was able to rest for the first time in her entire career last year, after being forced to stay off the road.
“It’s changed me,” McEntire told Sounds Like Nashville. “First of all, it slowed me down. I go 900 mph all day long. I’m exhausted when I lay down and I sleep really well, but I love life and I enjoy doing what I do, so I just re-channeled that to try to be more creative. I’ve even co-written a few songs.”
“I’m getting out in nature, enjoying what God has given us,” she continued. “I’ve got a garden. I’ve got a horse. I’ve got a little farm that I’m just enjoying so much, the peaceful slow down.”
Reba: Live in Concert is currently scheduled to begin on January 13, in Evansville, Indiana. See the new tour dates at Reba.com.
