Reba McEntire‘s empire is expanding once again. The Country Music Hall of Fame member will open Reba’s Place, a restaurant, bar and live music venue, in Atoka, Oklahoma, next year. McEntire announced the news during a show at Choctaw Grand Theater in Durant, Oklahoma, by welcoming Chief Gary Batton from Choctaw Nation to the stage, sharing the announcement on social media.
“We’re thrilled to pieces because it’s going to be right in downtown Atoka,” McEntire announced. “It’s going to be called Reba’s Place and it’s going to be in the old Masonic building. Y’all know where that is if you’ve been to Atoka.”
The 66-year-old promises Reba’s Place will have something for everyone, including those who want to hear live music.

“We’re really tickled, we’re very excited about it,” McEntire boasted. “It’s going to have great food, family atmosphere, a bandstand in there where we can do a little picking and grinning and singing, and we’re hoping by the end of next year, around September 2022, around there sometime that we’ll be ready for serving you guys to come up and see us.”
Batton also expressed his excitement that Reba’s Place would be coming to Atoka.
“We are partnering with the greatest female country singer of all time to bring Reba’s restaurant to Atoka, Oklahoma … We want all of you to come and join us at Atoka, when we have this grand opening for Reba’s Place,” Batton said. “We’re looking forward to some great food and fellowship and fun.”
The news comes as McEntire finally resumes life on the road, after being forced to cancel her Reba: Live In Concert Tour, due to the pandemic.
According to the Reba’s Place website, the space will be a “combination restaurant, bar, live music venue and retail store brought to life by country music superstar Reba McEntire.”
